Market leading NFT marketplace, OpenSea, has continued at break neck speed on its quest for multi-chain supremacy. Now, adding the ‘smol’ but mighty Avalanche to its fast-growing list of supported networks.
As of today, users can display, list, and trade Avalanche-based digital assets on OpenSea. Consequently, opening up to its community to such gems as Smol Joes, Smol Turds, Smol Creeps and Smol Lands. All of which benefit immensely from Avalanche’s state of the art, speedy transactions and low fees.

Despite 2022 proving a difficult time for crypto as a whole, Avalanche has grown a whopping 180% since Q2, seeing it avoid the dreaded downward vortex experienced by many of its contemporaries. Now, with OpenSea on its side, Avalanche NFTs have witnessed a (smol) surge, while the native $AVAX token has taken an unexpected tumble following the news.
The new addition to its framework takes OpenSea’s number of supported chains up to the dizzy heights of seven, with the likes of Optimism and Arbitrum also joining its burgeoning ranks in recent weeks. So, with that number likely to increase in the near future, it’s anyone’s guess which chain will land next on OpenSea’s impressive environment.
