Many of us grew up watching MTV’s iconic ‘Pimp My Ride’ show and obsessing over the dramatic automobile transformations. For those of us who now enjoy the Metaverse, there might be a chance to live out our childhood fantasies. This comes as popular Metaverse The Sandbox has announced its Pimp My Ride VoxEdit contest in partnership with Dreaming Cars and Beltoise.
This contest will see its users design a Metaverse car using VoxEdit software and compete for the title of “sickest car of the metaverse”.
Submissions for this contest opened on October 24th, 2022, and will close on November 6th, with the results to be announced on November 26th. In total, 15,000 SAND tokens, as well as NFTs from the Dreaming Cars Collection will be distributed among the winners of the contest.
The first prize will include 6,000 SAND and 4 BT01 NFTs, the second prize will include 3,500 SAND and 3 BT01 NFTs, and the third prize will include 2,000 SAND and 2 BT01 NFTs. To enter, contestants need to create a GIF of their fully animated asset and then tweet the GIF, tagging both the Sandbox and VoxEdit with the #VoxEditWeekly hashtag included. Finally, a Google form must be completed by the entrants.
