BlackPool has announced their partnership with soon-to-be-released action RPG, Big Time. The decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) initiated the partnership with a large purchase of SPACE NFTs.

The partnership between the NFT fund and Big Time was announced by BlackPool after it purchased $500,000 worth of Big Time SPACE NFTs, which add a whole host of value and creativity to the game through allowing players to create and customize universes.

The founders of the DAO have not been shy in expressing their admiration for the team behind the upcoming RPG, as they have stated that the prospect of working alongside developers who have worked for the likes of Epic Games, Electronic Arts (EA), Riot Games, Decentraland and Blizzard Entertainment certainly influenced their decision to make such a substantial investment.

They have also been impressed with Big Time’s interest in large guilds and seizing the opportunity to strengthen its community, which was on display when Big Time Studios expressed their intent to assist investors with a built-in system that streamlines scholarship programs. Such programs mean that BlackPool can utilize their great wealth in SPACE NFTs by recruiting hundreds of new scholars when the game launches.

Big Time is a free-to-play, play-to-earn game that incorporates time and space travel with combat mechanics, as well as the collection of NFTs, tokens, and other in-game items. With high ambitions of becoming the first AAA game with NFTs and tokens as key aspects of its gameplay, it has already accrued multiple major investments, including a $US500,000 investment in Time Machine NFTs from gaming guild Yield Guild Games.

BlackPool on the other hand is the first DAO built solely for NFT gaming and trading. It is a fund that manages a range of assets, from gaming, to sports cards, to digital art. It generates cashflow and value for the DAO through a range of different methods, one of which being the early purchasing of assets that will accrue value.

Big Time Early access is set to launch in early 2022, and will initially only be available to Gold, Silver and Jade VIP passes only.
