Crypto mega-corp, Coinbase, has announced a number of key upgrades to its browser-based self-custody wallet, providing users with an extra layer of freedom when managing their non-fungible portfolio.

Coinbase launched its own Google Chrome browser plug-in last November and are now busy dialing up development in order to compete with big hitters MetaMask. As such, a new suite of NFT features will arrive over the next few days which will allow users to view their coveted collections directly in the wallet, as well as link up with top marketplaces such as Opensea and Rarible.

In addition, Coinbase Wallet will also offer connection to a greater number of dapps, thereby providing an access point to the decentralized world while also incorporating the DEX trading functionality previously only available on mobile devices. All that Coinbase asks of its userbase is to ensure they’re using the latest version of the browser extension available.

Going forward, Coinbase has also announced that it will begin offering support to hardware wallets in early 2022. Exciting times from the world’s second-largest crypto exchange (by volume).
