My guess for 2022 is that the biggest NFT plays will happen around GameFi (P2E) and metaverse assets; even BAYC is launching a P2E game, so it’s a clear trend. Data used here will be estimates.

These collectibles did around $7.65B in sales with 1.35M of buyers.

Axie Infinity made $3.8B in sales with a total of 1.3M buyers who transacted 12M times.

CryptoPunks made $1.8B in sales with a total of 5k buyers who transacted 19k times.

ArtBlocks made $1.1B in sales with a total of 24k buyers who transacted 131k times.

BAYC made $953M in sales with a total of 8,693 buyers who transacted 23k times.

NFT Markets Sale On 2021

The biggest NFT markets or marketplaces where you can buy technically any NFT. These marketplaces did around $14.4B in sales with 2.36M of buyers.

OpenSea made $13.25B in sales with 1.24M buyers.

Solanart made $578M in sales with 159k buyers.

AtomicMarket made $312M in sales with 873k buyers.

Rarible made $260M in sales with 88k buyers.
