Professional boxer Mike Rashid announced that he will be releasing his very first NFT collection. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to his charity ‘Dirty Angels,’ an organization which distributes meals and hygiene packs to skid rows and areas of cities with concentrated homeless populations.

The collection will drop on Crypto.com on January 10th, and will be entitled ‘King Collection,’ as an apt nod to his birth name Michael King, as well as his birthplace, Kings County, New York. Rashid has kept his cards close to his chest with regards to the specifics of the NFTs, however a recent press release uncovered that the collection will be inspired by the chronicles and lessons of his storybook journey of being a professional boxer, power bodybuilder, lifestyle influencer, and consummate entrepreneur.

That being said, Rashid also alluded to his perspective of art being a power which is ungoverned by rules and boundaries, which is perhaps an unsubtle hint that the collection will feature some form artist element: “I paint a picture or tell a story of what’s in my heart and mind … and I step back and leave the interpretation for the viewers own imagination, perspective and vision. Art, in my opinion, is not bound by rules.”

Although the upcoming collection marks his NFT debut, Rashid is no stranger to the NFT space, as seen in his recent score of a custom PsychoKitties NFT on Crypto.com, which he proudly displays as his Instagram display picture.
