OneOf, a leader in the ever-growing NFT music space, has formed a strategic partnership with Warner Music Group (WMG). OneOf raised an incredible $63 million in their latest funding round in 2021, with the intention of using the money to support artists and making sure the funds go to them.

OneOf and WMG plan to create exclusive NFTs for a variety of artists who are under the wing of WMG’s music agency. This is WMG’s first step in partnering up with an exclusive NFT music platform. The company is excited to bring its iconic artists and labels to the blockchain, and aims to use Web3 technology to further support the connection between artists and their fans.

Partnering with OneOf, a leader in the emerging technology space of Web3 and NFTs, gives our artists an edge in more authentically building one-to-one relationships with their fans and winning in the new Web3 economy. We’re excited to see what’s possible,” stated Oana Ruxandra, Chief Digital Officer & EVP at Warner Music Group.

OneOf came to life through the combined efforts of tech entrepreneur Lin Dai, digital media executive Joshua James, and music industry veteran Adam Fell, in partnership with Quincy Jones and Quincy Jones Productions. The platform has already partnered up with other major names in the music industry, such as the GRAMMY Awards, iHeartRadio, and MusiCares. It has also launched NFT music collections by well-known artists like Whitney Houston, Doja Cat, and Alesso.

WMG is home to some of the biggest labels and singers in the world, including Warner Records, Elektra, and Parlophone, and musicians like Ed Sheeran, Dua Lipa and Lizzo.  The partnership between the two is certainly a huge step forward for musicians and NFTs. In addition, OneOf has also positioned itself as a “green” NFT platform by leveraging the eco-friendly Tezos blockchain.
