Historical users of Genie are in luck! On Wednesday this week (30th of November), NFT trading began on the Decentralised exchange, Uniswap. To mark this momentous occasion, it’s giving away a $5M Airdrop to historical users of Genie, the NFT marketplace aggregator Uniswap acquired in June. The great platform will also offer gas rebates, capped at 0.01 ether (ETH), to its first 22,000 NFT buyers.

In this latest move, Uniswap firmly solidified itself as a promising heavyweight in the future of NFTs. Uniswap users can trade an extensive range of digital collectibles across OpenSea, Larva Labs, X2Y2, LooksRare, Sudoswap, Foundation, and NFT20 marketplaces from the Uniswap NFT aggregator tool. It is also reported that its new open-sourced Universal Router contract can save the platform’s users up to 15% on gas fees compared to other NFT aggregators.

“NFTs and ERC-20 tokens have largely existed as two separate ecosystems within crypto, but both are essential to growing the digital economy. Launching NFTs on Uniswap is our first step in building more interoperable experiences between the two.” – Uniswap
