Record-breaking NFT artist, Beeple, has opened his own digital art studio that will allow creators to showcase their art and foster a community. Dubbed the Beeple Studios, the grand opening took place on March 11 with the support of Christies, the famous auction house where his “Everydays: The First 5,000 Days” NFT sold for $69.3 million.

During the soiree, Beeple conducted a live ‘everydays’ performance, where he created 50 Everyday ‘artifacts,’ as well as an artwork dubbed ‘The Long Road.’ On completion of each piece, Beeple activated an array of printers hidden in the ceiling, which then rained down artworks on the stunned guests.

The exact number of items remains unclear; however, estimates put the figure at around 900 printouts. Interestingly, each digital print featured a yellow border and a “valuable red dot,” meaning that it can be exchanged for an NFT that holders will receive at a future date.

Beeple Studios Isn’t Open To The Public Yet

In his true style, Beeple then published The Long Road on his Twitter account at midnight, thus completing his latest installment of Everydays. Additionally, the NFT for Long Road was added to his classic collection BEEPLE:EVERYDAYS.

Attendees were lucky to also view various artworks from other NFT artists such as Fvckrender, XCopy, Pak, Victor Duarte, Refik Anadol, and others that lined the walls. Speaking on why he felt the need to open Beeple Studios, the artist notes, “We wanted to build a space where we could program multiple different types of artists showcases and experimental community events.”

As of now, the studio isn’t open to the public, however, interested parties can register to get a chance to visit the art gallery.
