Gaming guild powerhouse Yield Guild Games (YGG) have entered the exciting role-playing world of Big Time, through their purchase of Time Machine NFTs. The partnership between YGG and Big Time will help educate gamers around the world about NFTs and blockchain gaming.
YGG purchased $500,000 worth of Time Machine NFTs, which once released, will be available for community use. Big Time CEO Ari Meilich stated that the partnership is a “natural fit,” as collaborating with a guild that is “focused on excellence” will be of great benefit towards Big Time’s goal of becoming the world’s first AAA blockchain game. Meilich also stated that YGG’s involvement in the game will mean that their vision of SPACE NFTs, an NFT that adds a whole host of creativity through allowing players to create and customize universes, can be made possible.
Big Time is a free-to-play, play-to-earn game where players team up with friends to save the world from a mysterious threat that is tearing down the walls of time. The game gives players the driving seat in their own time-machine, where they will travel through time to encounter infamous historical battles and figures, collecting in-game items, NFTs, and tokens whilst doing so.
Big Time Studios consists of an impressive team of veteran gaming developers, from the likes of Epic Games, Electronic Arts (EA), Blizzard Entertainment and Riot Games. Collectively, these institutions have contributed to some of the most legendary games of the 21st century, such as Call of Duty, Fortnite and Overwatch.
A beta version of Big Time is currently under development and is scheduled to be released later this year. Early access will begin in early 2022.
