Macy’s Second Virtual Parade
Inspired its previous year, this is the second time that Macy’s will be hosting its virtual parade
This latest edition will be hosted in the OnCyber metaverse platform. Five galleries will be included which will showcase designs from upcoming NFT artists giving fans the opportunity to vote for their favorites till December 4, 2022. The winning design will be championed as next year’s amazing float. The first 100,000 voters this year will also receive a free collectable from the organizers. Those holding a collectible from the previous year will be rewarded with additional votes.
Will Coss, the executive producer of Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, remarked “Our genesis collection of Parade NFT’s last year was so successful that we wanted to give our digital community the opportunity to select a native NFT design to be transformed into a real-world Macy’s Parade balloon, while also creating an opportunity to raise critical funds for our partner Big Brothers Big Sisters of America.”
