As the world moves even closer to Web3 adoption, making a choice between payments on either blockchain, or fiat currency has become a preference for many. One company at the forefront of the Web3 e-commerce scene is the innovative digital and physical goods retailer, Uquid.
The Web3 retailer boasts collections of over 85 million physical, digital and NFT products. It ships to over 150 countries and is confident in serving any demand of customers in the Metaverse with an optional shop-to-earn experience.
The Web3 retailer’s latest move will see it integrate with Polygon. Through the integration, the store will work with Polygon to build Uquid on Polygon’s proof-of-stake chain and wallet to add $MATIC as a new payment method for its products. Shoppers will also take advantage of Polygon’s full-stack scaling solution that allows them to minimize transaction fees; the integration will support Uquid shoppers to gain access to DApps on Polygon.

Another benefit of the integration will see the retailer drastically cut its carbon emissions. Polygon is one of the greenest blockchains with low ecological impact. Uquid believes its latest move will encourage an environment-friendly and user-friendly ecosystem for its growing community.
