<p>Spectrum Markets, owned by IG Group, has ended the fourth quarter of 2022 with a total turnover of €842 million, which is an increase of 77 percent compared to the same period a year ago.</p><p>Spectrum Markets Sees Solid Turnover Uptick</p><p>The turnover of the company marginally strengthened quarter-over-quarter as it generated €836 million <a href=”https://www.financemagnates.com/forex/spectrum-markets-q3-2022-turnover-jumps-136/” target=”_blank” rel=”follow”>in the third quarter</a>. For the <a href=”https://www.financemagnates.com/forex/brokers/spectrum-markets-sees188-rise-in-q1-2022-trading-turnover/” target=”_blank” rel=”follow”>first</a> and <a href=”https://www.financemagnates.com/forex/brokers/spectrum-markets-closes-q2-with-250-turnover-jump/” target=”_blank” rel=”follow”>second</a> quarters, the company reported a turnover of €771 million and €879 million, respectively.</p><p>The securitized derivatives platform’s turnover was boosted by continued positive momentum in trading activities. Between October and December, the trading volume on the pan-European platform jumped by 41 percent year-over-year, with 365 million traded securitized derivatives. In Q3 2022, the platform handled the trading of 401 million securitized derivatives products.</p><p>“We are very happy to announce our second strongest quarter to date, emphasizing Spectrum’s continued growth in volume and turnover, and a great way to end the year,” said the CEO of Spectrum Markets, Nicky Maan.</p><p>Moreover, the platform revealed that 37.1 percent of the individual trades on the platform were executed outside of traditional hours. Indices instruments led the demand with 85 percent of all traded derivatives, while currency pairs accounted for 8.9 percent, commodities 1.7 percent, <a href=”https://www.financemagnates.com/terms/e/equities/” class=”terms__main-term” id=”d6e02698-4c6b-44dd-ab57-9ff12763325c” target=”_blank”>equities</a> 1.2 percent, and <a href=”https://www.financemagnates.com/terms/c/cryptocurrencies/” class=”terms__secondary-term” id=”b091101e-6e02-4b36-aa0e-7c972dfdd6ed” target=”_blank”>cryptocurrencies</a> 0.2 percent.</p><p>Spectrum Markets Is Growing with Partnerships</p><p>The Frankfurt-headquartered platform offers securitized derivatives to financial institutions and retail investors. Over the years, the platform expanded its geographical footprint as its offerings are now available in Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Sweden, Norway, the Netherlands, Ireland, and Finland.</p><p>Last December, Spectrum Markets <a href=”https://www.financemagnates.com/forex/spectrum-markets-partners-with-socgen-to-offer-new-assets-in-spain-and-scandinavia/” target=”_blank” rel=”follow”>tapped Societe Generale</a> as a market maker and liquidity provider for new instruments offered in Spain and Nordic countries. Further, the platform onboarded the Spanish online multi-broker, iBroker, as a new member that enabled retail investors in Spain and Italy to trade leveraged instruments on the regulated trading venue.</p><p>The company highlighted that both partnerships showcase its growth strategy.
