Popular NFT collection, Doodles, is set to debut its second set of digital collectibles on the Flow blockchain. Doodles is a collection of 10,000 NFTs based on the Ethereum network, featuring hundreds of hand-drawn characters with unique designs. Now, the project is set to launch the Doodles 2 collection on the highly composable layer one protocol, Flow. According to Julian Holguin, CEO of Doodles, this is a way to take the project “out of the box.”
In a statement, Julian notes that the project’s goal is to “bridge physical and digital touchpoints in new, fresh ways because, at their core, Doodles are designed to be digital identities—expressions of ourselves, or rather, how we see ourselves, that can travel with us everywhere we go.”
Therefore, Doodles 2 is a series of collectibles that will enable holders to customize their Doodle NFTs through wearables. Holders can style up their Doodles in apparel, accessories, gadgets, and more. When they are done, they can move this “dynamic NFT identity across social media, IRL experiences, and other integrations” that will be implemented later.

Why Are Doodles 2 Collectibles Being Released on Flow Blockchain?
According to Julian, Doodles are meant to exist everywhere, and that’s why partnering with Flow made sense. The blockchain boasts powerful composability, which marries well with Doodles’ vision for digital identities. Therefore, Flow allows users to hold Doodles that are “portable and interoperable across social platforms, live events, gaming worlds, streaming content, retail activations, and other imaginative moments.”
Once the Doodles 2 collectibles launch, Doodle NFT holders can buy, sell, and trade their wearables on Gaia. This allows them to design their own unique collections that represent their individual identities.
The announcement has the Doodle community excited. It comes days after the company revealed that it was acquiring animation studio Golden Wolf as it aims to conquer Web3.
